Greenville, Tx - After drawing the Schultz Fueling Technologies Pole Award, Corey Oltz of Lake Charles, La., set the pace for the 25 lap Southern States Modified Series main event. Points leader Patrik Daniel grabbed the lead on the top of the track after a caution.
John Sliney had a strong run going and finished second ahead of Cody Robbins of Mansfield, La., who charged from the tail to secure a hard fought third place finish. After battling with Daniel for the lead the last three laps, Robbins sent it in a little too hard and spun on the final corner but was able to take the checkered flag in third with Brother Fowlkes and Thomas Holt rounding out the top five.
