2/10/25 – Shreveport, LA. The Southern States Modified Series has released a compelling 15 race schedule for the 2025 season. The 6th season for the SSMS campaign will award more than $60,000 in prize money and contingencies, the Day Motorsports championship points fund and perfect attendance awards presented by Dirt Track Digest.

The traveling northeast modified series will invade eight different venues in Louisiana and Texas. Kicking it off February 27th-March 1st for the season opener at 105 Speedway with the rescheduled 2024 39th Annual Renegade Texas Grand in Cleveland, TX.

Sabine Speedway is scheduled two times in 2025, beginning with a Friday night show with an Easter egg hunt on April 18th followed by a return trip to the 3/8-mile semi banked D shaped oval on Saturday, June 21st.

The series will continue a busy month of May featuring the first of three events with a return trip to 105 Speedway in Cleveland, TX., on May 10th. The following Saturday, May 17th, the series makes its first ever trip to Baton Rouge Raceway in Baker, LA. Then, back to the Lonestar State with another first time visit to Grayson County Speedway on May 24th in Bells, TX.

105 Speedway will host race No. 7 on June 7th and back to Sabine Speedway for an action-packed Saturday night on June 21st.

In July the series heads back to 105 Speedway on the 19th for the Day Motorsports point series race No. 9.

The month of August fires off with the first of three events with Hunt County Raceway on August 2nd. Then, the Modifieds will make their only appearance of the season at Ark-La-Tex Speedway on August 9th for the back to school special. August 16th returning to 105 Speedway for race No. 12.

September 6th, race 13, SSMS will return to the birthplace of the series at Super Bee Speedway in Chatham, LA.

The season winds down in the fall at the ever-popular 105 Speedway providing the stage for race No. 14 on October 18th. Following with another energizing highlight on the calendar is the return of The Rev on October 25th in Monroe, LA. This will be the final Day Motorsports points race of the season.

The Day Motorsports Points Champion will be guaranteed a starting spot in the 2025 Monster Bash on the Mountain at Center Lisle’s, NewYork’s Thunder Mountain Speedway on October 31st and November 1st courtesy of Mike Mallet with Dirt Track Digest.
